Raw Material Supervisor - Cosmetic & Skincare

• Develop and maintain relationships with qualified raw material suppliers.
• Place orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Manage import/export processes and ensure compliance with customs regulations.
• Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast future needs.
• Manage raw material storage facilities according to proper safety and quality standards.
• Conduct periodic inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure all incoming raw materials comply with company specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of quality certificates and test reports.
• Conduct or oversee basic quality control tests on raw materials.
• Report any quality issues to the Quality Assurance department.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely availability of required materials.
• Manage and optimize raw material deliveries to production lines.
• Stay updated on relevant cosmetic regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws.
• Maintain documentation related to raw material safety and traceability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in raw material management or procurement within the cosmetic industry.
• Strong understanding of cosmetic raw materials, their properties, and applications.
• Proven ability to manage inventory and maintain accurate records.
• Experience with quality control procedures and data analysis.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and inventory management software
