Project Architect

Hire Resolve’s client is urgently seeking the expertise of a Project Architect in Parsippany, NJ.

Responsibilities:

• The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, familiar with the local New Jersey and New York Metro area, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Architects collaborate in a multi-disciplinary setting to design public facilities for various agencies and institutions, including but not limited to the NJ DPMC, NJDOT, DEP, MVC, NYCSCA, universities, community colleges, and corporate facilities.
• Scoping
• Design
• Construction documentation preparation
• Construction administration
• The successful candidate will be proficient in generating and overseeing the development of contract documents, possess strong design and technical skills, and have a thorough understanding of materials and building technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor of Architecture Degree.
• Licensed Architect in NJ and/or NY.
• Minimum 10-15 years of architectural experience.
• Ability to develop, detail, and coordinate projects from programming through construction documents.
• Knowledge of construction drawing standards.
• Experience in building code analysis and reviews.
• Construction field support and representation experience.
• Proficiency in coordinating with outside consultants.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Capability to manage multiple projects of varied type and scale independently.
• Experience with DPMC, NYCSCA, NYC MTA, or related projects is a plus.
