About this Role:
The People Engagement and Experience Partner enhances team engagement and alignment by supporting onboarding, training, and communication efforts. This role fosters growth ensures consistency in team experiences and educates on Human Capital topics while driving key engagement and performance metrics. With a focus on collaboration, professionalism, and development, the partner contributes to creating a positive and productive workplace. This role requires 60% travel weekly to locations in Long Island, Hudson Valley, NY, and Connecticut.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct store visits to ensure consistency in onboarding, training, and team member experiences.
- Follow up on new team member training to address gaps and reinforce learning outcomes.
- Investigate engagement results (e.g., eNPS) and team experience outcomes, providing actionable insights to enhance morale and retention.
- Manage team member communication, serving as the primary contact for performance, policy, and benefits-related inquiries.
- Organize and attend job and career fairs to support recruitment and align with staffing needs.
- Educate managers and team members on human capital topics, including performance management, benefits, and career development opportunities.
- Track and monitor completion of key metrics such as Performance Evaluation and Development Plans (PEDPs), training programs, and engagement surveys.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve engagement metrics, such as turnover, satisfaction, and training completion rates.
- Support team member performance and development by identifying growth opportunities and addressing areas of improvement.
- Promote a positive, collaborative workplace culture through effective communication, professionalism, and relationship-building.
Requirements
Schedule Expectations:
- Monday-Friday Office Hours
- Store Visits to Long Island, New Conn, and Hudson Valley locations
- Remote work available (limited two days a week Wednesday/Friday)
Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Development, Employee Engagement, or a similar role.
- Proven experience in managing onboarding processes, training programs, and team member communications.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze engagement data (e.g., eNPS, turnover rates) and develop actionable strategies.
- Experience with organizing and participating in recruitment events, such as job and career fairs.
- Familiarity with performance management tools and frameworks, including setting and tracking performance goals.
