The Logistics Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient movement and distribution of eco-friendly products. This position involves managing transportation, inventory, and shipping processes while aligning with our sustainability goals. The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with suppliers, warehouses, and internal teams to optimize supply chain efficiency and provide exceptional service to our clients nationwide.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily logistics and distribution operations, ensuring timely delivery of eco-friendly carry bags and products to wholesale clients.
- Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce excess waste.
- Schedule and manage shipments with third-party carriers, optimizing routes for minimal environmental impact and cost efficiency.
- Maintain and update shipping documentation, tracking information, and inventory records with accuracy.
- Communicate with clients to provide delivery status updates, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Identify areas for improvement in the logistics process, proposing sustainable practices that align with the company’s environmental goals.
- Conduct regular checks on transportation costs and efficiency, negotiating with vendors to obtain eco-friendly shipping options.
- Prepare reports on logistics performance, analyzing data to inform decisions that enhance operational sustainability.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain coordination, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of eco-friendly practices and commitment to sustainable solutions.
Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and handle pressure effectively.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
