Licensed Practical Nurse

JOB TITLE (#1552 ): Licensed Practical Nurse / Staff Nurse - Jersey City, NJ

Minimum of 1 year nursing home experience is preferred

Impact Recruiting Solutions is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to fill an opening with a long-term care and sub-acute facility located in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Schedule of the Licensed Practical Nurse / Staff Nurse:

• This is for a Full-time, Part-time or Per Diem position
• Day and night shifts available
• Expected hours: 7.5 – 37.5 per week
• Monday to Friday, rotating weekends, weekends as needed
• Supplemental schedule: Holidays, On-call, Overtime

Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse / Staff Nurse:

• The staff nurse will perform direct services for residents/patients
• Administer medications and provide treatments
• Provide personal care to facilitate continual assessment and evaluation, and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Coordinate the communication of the resident/patient care needs with members of the other disciplines.
• Identify and delegate suitable components of care to CNA; supervise, educate, and provide guidance as necessary.
• Functions independently with minimal direction from the unit manager; assumes charge and staff nurse responsibilities as assigned.
• Participate in the nursing quality assurance programs.

Requirements

• Must hold a current, valid NJ LPN License
• At least 1 year experience in a nursing home is preferred
