Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of irrigation systems, identifying and troubleshooting any issues
- Repair and replace faulty components, such as sprinkler heads, valves, and pipes
- Adjust irrigation schedules based on seasonal changes and weather conditions
- Perform system upgrades and modifications to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Inspect and analyze water flow rates to optimize irrigation performance
- Collaborate with landscape designers to install new sprinkler systems
- Educate clients on proper irrigation system usage and maintenance
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in irrigation system installation and repair
- Strong knowledge of different types of sprinkler heads, valves, and controllers
- Familiarity with landscaping techniques and plant water requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
