Your work will include: 

  • Installing and configuring company’s hardware and software applications, including operating systems, productivity software, and antivirus programs. 
  • Perform admin functions within Microsoft Admin Console, MS Office 365, Exchange-Online, Active Directory and Azure AD, Microsoft Intune. 
  • Ensuring system security by monitoring security measures, such as firewalls, antivirus programs, and intrusion detection systems, to protect computer and sensitive data from security breaches. 
  • Providing technical support to the company’s employees, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and networking issues. 
  • Maintaining and upgrading computer systems, including hardware and software upgrades, system patches, and security updates. 
  • Monitoring networks, including configuring routers, switches, and other network devices, troubleshooting network connectivity issues, and implementing network security measures. 
  • Creating and maintaining documentation on technology-related policies, procedures, and best practices. 
  • Supporting Android and iOS mobile devices 
  • Maintaining information and client confidentiality  
  • Being a go-to-person for our team’s IT support needs. 
  • Assisting in IT security assessments.   

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in IT support or related services. 
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. AWS workspace, Azure VM) 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferred but not required. 
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations, such as HIPAA, PCI DSS, and GDPR. 
  • Experience with security automation and orchestration tools, such as SOAR platforms. 
  • Experience working in a regulated industry, such as healthcare. 
  • Desire to learn and develop new skills 

Bonus points if you have: 

  • Worked in a HIPAA-compliant environment. 
  • Deployed policies and supervised devices via endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune. 
  • Experience with OKTA or other SSO authentication applications. 
  • Managed or is familiar with cloud applications on AWS or Azure, 
  • Firewall administration and VPN management. 
  • Analyzed and maintained event logs and is comfortable utilizing SIEM tools.
