Fuel Tax Administrator

Join our growing team at Miller Transportation Group as Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax Administrator for our Miller Truck Leasing division. ·         Miller Truck Leasing – the largest privately-held truck leasing company on the East Coast. Provides full-service leasing, finance leasing, truck rental, and truck maintenance programs.

·         Miller Dedicated Services - Supports customers in outsourcing their transportation needs by providing vehicles, drivers, fuel, insurance, and overall industry expertise.

·         Miller Brokerage Services - Provides on-demand capacity solutions through our network of reliable carriers.

Job Summary:

Analyze motor vehicle fuel receipts and trip reports then  prepare and submit fuel tax returns on a calendar basis. You will also be liaison for the sales force and shops to insure customer and rental unit compliance.

Requirements

You Will:

• Data entry of fuel receipts and miles.
• Research and resolve differences between fuel billing and credits.
• Monitor GPS uploads and report any issues to customers in a timely manner.
• Supports fuel tax audits and requests for documentation.
• Assist with general administrative office duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

You Have:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
• High level of organization.
• Desire to work as part of a team.
• Experience with MS/Office (Outlook and Excel experience).
• Associate’s degree, high school diploma or relevant work experience.
• Able to work: Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
