Flair Dance Academy is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and certified Fitness Trainer to join our passionate team. In this role, you will focus on developing and implementing personalized fitness programs that enhance the overall performance and physical well-being of our dancers. Your expertise in fitness training will be essential in helping dancers achieve their goals, whether it's improving strength, flexibility, or stamina. You'll work in tandem with dance instructors to create a holistic approach to training that combines dance techniques with fitness regimens. As a Fitness Trainer, you will motivate and inspire our dancers, making fitness a fun and integral part of their artistic journey. Your role will involve leading group workouts, conducting one-on-one training sessions, and organizing fitness workshops that educate dancers on best practices for maintaining physical health in their performances. Responsibilities
- Design and conduct tailored fitness programs for dancers
- Lead group fitness classes and personal training sessions
- Monitor and assess dancer’s physical progress and provide feedback
- Incorporate elements of strength, flexibility, and cardio into training
- Educate dancers on nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices
- Create a safe and motivating environment for participants
- Stay up-to-date with the latest fitness trends and techniques
Requirements
- Certification as a Fitness Trainer from a recognized organization
- Prior experience in fitness training, preferably with dancers or athletes
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, exercise techniques, and nutrition
- Excellent communication and motivational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Passion for health, fitness, and the performing arts
