Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Base Build Fire Alarm Maintenance Technician to ensure the proper functioning of fire alarm systems in our facilities. The role involves performing regular maintenance, inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in fire alarm systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance work.
Responsibilities
· Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on fire alarm systems.
· Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on fire alarm and related components.
· Respond promptly to fire aalrm maintenance requests from various sites.
· Identify and communicate potential issues or areas for improvement related to fire alarm systems.
· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
· Collaborate with other maintenance team members to support overall facility maintenance needs.
Requirements
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; certification or vocational training in fire alarm systems preferred.
· Proven experience as a plumbing maintenance technician or similar role.
· Proficient knowledge of fire alarm systems, fixtures, and tools.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
· Physical stamina and flexibility to perform maintenance tasks as needed.
· Relevant certification or licenses may be required. Audit compliance: Ensuring that maintenance processes and activities meet specified standards, regulations, and best practices. This may involve reviewing maintenance records, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
