Full Job Description

The Finance Tech Operations Supervisor is responsible for providing superior service and guidance to the Tech Operations team. They are to support the vision of not only the company but to both the Sr. Manager of Finance Tech Operations as well as the Assistant Manager of Finance Tech Ops. Work shift to shift to ensure a standardized level of service is being delivered. They will lead the Technical Team through the department procedures and maintenance projects for Finance.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provides overall support to the Sr. Manager of Finance Tech Operations as well as the Assistant Manager of Finance Tech Operations.
  • Be the example to the team when servicing customers and promoting teamwork.
  • Deliver superior customer service while following Oceans Mission Statement.
  • Serves as central point of contact for department employees and other Ocean departments.
  • Manage Tech 1’s and 2’s on their daily responsibilities.
  • Responsible for ensuring the TR’s, Quick Jacks, and all cage equipment are operating and being PM’d when scheduled.
  • Assist the Sr. Mgr. with IT and Accounting to assure the reporting and balancing of the equipment is functioning properly.
  • Assists with the training and development of all levels of the Tech Ops department.
  • Know and follow all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. Assure we are following our compliance program and the laws mentioned above.
  • Maintains accurate and current records and files as directed by the Sr Mgr. and VP of Casino Finance Ops.
  • Responsible for the accuracy and following of our Key Controls. Order and maintain the inventory of parts and equipment.
  • Works with the Sr Mgr of Tech Ops and the Assistant Manager on all departmental projects including but not limited to future TR related maintenance and system upgrades.
  • Work with vendors to ensure the machines work properly.
  • Assist cage staff with any customer dispute and or equipment issue they may be having.
  • Be a leader within the department, be an example to all team members and communicate concerns to the Sr. Mgr. and Assistant Mgr.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

  • Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise and hectic environments.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Must be able to stand for a portion of the shift and be able to move throughout the property.
  • Must be able to, occasionally work holidays and weekends.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak & Understand)
  • In-depth understanding of office management and daily operations
  • Hands on experience with MS Office
  • Working knowledge of cage equipment, like printers, money counters, time stamp machines, and Quick-Jack / TR units.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Prior casino experience preferred
