Finance Intern Summer 2024

CS Energy is hiring a Finance Intern to work in conjunction with the Director of FP&A to support management and operations with information, analytics and financial services in order to achieve the company’s mission and execute its strategic plan. This position monitors and advances the financial health of the company by managing cash flow, enhancing profit, watching costs and safeguarding assets. In addition, develops financial policy and provides accurate, actionable and timely financial reporting and forecasts to facilitate internal management and to ensure external compliance. This is a great opportunity for a Summer Internship for 2024.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly management reporting
• Helping to build new excel based financial models
• Assist with process improvement initiatives
• Process documentation along with working on process re-engineering
• Preparing supplementary schedules of job costs percentage of completion
• Complete/assist with additional projects as needed

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite; Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, v-lookup, financial modeling)
• Must have demonstrated leadership skills
• Excellent teamwork, communication and people
• Self-directed, organized and self-motivated to accomplish goals
