English Tutors (ELA, Grades 6-8), Curriculum Provided/Reliable Hours

TPAPT, a national consortium of over 12,000 locally owned and operated Tutoring & College Advising Programs, is seeking an experienced History Tutor to join the team. As a Tutor you will help students in grades 6-8 with ELA, Reading, and Writing skills.

Specifics:

• Middle School ELA Instructor
• Location: Local Learning Center
• Classification: Employee (W2)
• Schedule: Weekdays after school, part of a weekend day
• Pay Range: $30-$40/hour (potential for salaried)
• Materials and curriculum provided

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person private tutoring sessions
• Use our ELA curriculum to tutor
• Administer practice exams and evaluate student progress as needed
• Collaborate with students' families to keep them apprised of student progress.
• Maintain accurate records of session details, scores, and student progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must have experience working with children.
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Strong instructional skills
• Enthusiasm for and demonstrated mastery of subject matter.
• Reliable transportation
