At Our Home, as a CPG Procurement Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain activities to ensure efficient and cost-effective acquisition of raw materials for our food CPG products. We are looking for a person who is comfortable making data-driven decisions and having a role in analyzing vendor performance and relationships.
Responsibilities
- Managing relationships with suppliers, resolving issues, and fostering collaboration to ensure a reliable supply of goods and services.
- Owning the entire Purchase Order Lifecycle for your product line, including determining supply needs, creating purchase orders, receiving inventory, and closing out purchase orders.
- Implementing cost-effective procurement practices through price negotiations, exploring alternative sourcing options, and optimizing inventory levels.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure an efficient and responsive supply chain, including logistics, production, and demand planning.
- Identifying and mitigating procurement-related risks, such as supply chain disruptions or quality issues, and developing contingency plans.
- Reviewing contracts for compliance around pricing, payment terms, volume, and commitments.
- Reviewing inventory levels regularly and applying a lean operating principles to all aspects of the job
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a food CPG procurement role
- NetSuite experience is a plus
- Experience with vendor management
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Comfortable working autonomously with limited supervision
- Highly proficient with MS Excel
