Our Marketing team are the passionate product advocates who help our growing network of users understand what’s possible with LEAP on their side.
As custodians of the LEAP brand, the Marketing Team is responsible for building awareness, recognition and adoption of our products across the legal profession, turning LEAP into a brand that lawyers know and love.
From executing marketing campaigns that reach hearts and minds, to developing a consistent, concise and always compelling brand, you’ll play an active role in innovating and guiding the trajectory of our business. We are seeking a Content Marketing Specialist to join our highly motivated, high velocity, and highly creative marketing team in the Marketing department.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for supporting marketing by crafting incredibly compelling content to enhance the LEAP reputation, awareness, and industry leadership with law firms across the United States. Responsibilities include creating content for promotional campaigns, thought leadership initiatives, and public relations efforts aimed at driving broader market awareness. If you have experience in helping to build a brand through innovative and compelling marketing programs, we’d like to meet you.
This role combines creative development (copywriting and proofreading), internal collaboration, and strategic planning to manage the LEAP marketing messaging across all internal and external channels.
You will join the LEAP Marketing team consisting of over 10 members that enjoy sharing ideas and are driven to be the best to reach their goals, and they have fun doing it!
Responsibilities
The Content Marketing Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with marketing team to plan, develop, and execute New Business, Current Clients, Thought Leadership/PR campaigns to create awareness for LEAP.
- Write key company communications, which include the application of standard industry writing guidelines for all written content: web pages, press releases, awards submissions, blogs, e-books, ad copy, emails, etc.
- Review and provide proofing/strategic guidance on materials created by other departments. These include webinars, presentations, and emails, among others.
- Manage and maintain accurate and consistent messaging in the LEAP library of marketing collateral including guides, brochures, flyers, videos, etc.
- Assist with the creative process to ensure all content is not only correct but correlates to core messaging across all channels.
- Own thought leadership and content marketing calendars across digital, events, PR, media, etc.
- Collaborate with industry experts, clients, advisors, journalists, and others to establish LEAP as an industry leader.
- Be the voice of our written brand throughout the organization.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of proven work experience as a Content Marketing Specialist or similar role.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Elevated writer with the ability to craft compelling and cohesive stories.
- Hands-on experience with web and SEO content, ad copy, email, digital, and event marketing.
- Comfortable using technologies including Trello, Dropbox/Dropbox Paper, and MS Office.
- Expertise in marketing communications with proficiency in proofreading.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills – you’re comfortable presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
- BS in Marketing, English, Communications, Public Relations, or relevant field.
Selection Criteria – Desired (but not required)
- Experience working in the legal or SaaS industries.
- Experience working for a B2B company.
