IT Technician Full Time $25/hr
Shift Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm
We are looking for a skilled and customer-oriented Computer Repair Technician to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, thrives in a hands-on role, and excels at providing exceptional service to clients. This role involves diagnosing and repairing computer hardware and software issues, improving network performance, building custom PCs, and delivering on-site services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, listen to their concerns, and assess their needs. Document issues accurately in our ticketing software.
- Diagnostics & Repairs: Perform thorough diagnostics on hardware and software issues for both PCs and Macs. Provide clear recommendations to customers.
- On-Site Support: Travel to residential and small business locations to troubleshoot computer and network issues, including improving Wi-Fi performance.
- Laptop & Desktop Repairs: Disassemble and repair laptops and desktops, including replacing components such as screens, hard drives, and motherboards.
- Custom PC Builds: Assemble custom workstations or gaming PCs with excellent cable management and researched, compatible parts.
- Time Management: Complete repairs and tickets efficiently, ensuring timely resolution for customers.
- Networking: Set up and troubleshoot network equipment and connectivity issues in homes and small offices.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed notes in our ticketing system, ensuring accurate records of diagnostics, repairs, and customer communications.

Requirements
- Proven experience in computer repair, including hardware diagnostics and software troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of PC and Mac systems, with the ability to troubleshoot both effectively.
- Strong understanding of network equipment and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
- Experience building custom PCs, including component research and assembly.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and time management.
- Valid driver’s license
