Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team of behavioral health professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach programs to engage with community organizations and providers to promote our services and build relationships that foster a collaborative and supportive environment. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by mental health and substance use disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage with community organizations, providers, and stakeholders to promote our services and programs.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with community partners, including hospitals, clinics, schools, and other social service agencies.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities for collaboration and partnerships that support the growth and expansion of our services.
  • Provide educational presentations and workshops on behavioral health topics to community groups, organizations, and service providers.
  • Develop and disseminate promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, and social media content, to promote our services.
  • Coordinate outreach events, including health fairs, community events, and provider meetings.
  • Collect and track data on outreach efforts, including attendance at events, number of referrals generated, and community engagement metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing materials and campaigns that support outreach efforts.
  • Participate in community events and activities to promote our services and build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, including meeting minutes, correspondence, and contact information.
  • Identify opportunities for quality improvement and recommend process changes to enhance outreach efforts.

Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in community outreach or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Familiarity with behavioral health issues and services
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
