Cognos TM1 Architect

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cognos TM1 Architect with over 12 years of experience in developing and maintaining TM1 applications. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize TM1 solutions that meet evolving business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in TM1 11.2+ versions, possess excellent technical skills, and demonstrate a solid understanding of financial modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of complex TM1 applications using version 11.2 or higher, based on business requirements.
• Provide hands-on expertise across Cognos TM1 tools (Perspective, Architect, Performance Modeler, Contributor Web) for effective performance and user experience.
• Develop and manage complex TI processes/chores, create web sheets (Static and Active forms), and design efficient workflows and rules for TM1 applications.
• Implement and manage data, application, and object-level security to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and integration of Cognos TM1 and BI tools in the organization's architecture.
• Apply advanced skills in SQL and other scripting languages to develop, troubleshoot, and enhance TM1 processes.
• Produce and maintain high-quality functional and technical documentation to ensure clarity in design and architecture.
• Collaborate with finance teams to enhance TM1 applications in alignment with financial modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
• Present technical solutions effectively to stakeholders at all levels, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of hands-on experience in Cognos TM1 development, with a focus on version 11.2 or higher.
• Extensive knowledge of financial modules and their integration with TM1.
• Proven ability to communicate complex ideas and present solutions effectively to diverse audiences.
