The CAM is responsible for developing an overall virtual territory channels plan that maximizes opportunities and generates sales activities. They will strive to create strong channel partner relationships and work cohesively with their team partners to provide our channel partners with the tools and information for them to be successful.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute channel sales strategies with Channel Sales Leadership for VARs, with a focus on driving revenue growth through existing partners.
- Promote and effectively implement channel-specific promotions/initiatives that drive deal registrations, demos, and end-customer trials.
- Create, nurture, and identify new channel partners that will expand Vasion’s reach into target markets.
- Build and support strong, long-lasting partner relationships by regularly meeting with partners, conducting webinars, and working with Account Executives and System Engineers to understand the products and needs of our channel partners and their customers.
- Plan and conduct face-to-face (preferably) QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews) with Strategic Partners and correct roles within those partnerships.
- Maintain frequent and regular contact with channel partners at both senior management level and the individual partner rep level in order to remain top-of-mind awareness.
- Provide technical and program training to channel partners, keeping them informed of new product developments, pricing updates, and partner program updates. This will include setting goals for product certifications and tracking on a monthly basis.
- Promote and effectively implement channel-specific promotions/initiatives that drive deal registrations, demos, and end-customer trials.
- Collaborate closely with the finance, operations, sales, and marketing teams to provide partner feedback to improve our product offering and customer experience.
- Utilize Salesforce and other CRM systems, to forecast opportunities, generate quotes, and maintain customer records and data.
- Travel to meet with partners in person, present to sales teams, meet individually with partner representatives, and conduct in-person events leveraging our in-house registration tools.
- Work with Channel Sales Account Executives, onboard new partners, and build clear, concise programs that drive specific action-orientated events that produce net new channel ARR.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional trends regarding buying habits, technology, competitors, compliance and governance drivers, and regional evolution.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional channel sales experience in Enterprise Software and/or Print Management Technology Solutions.
- 25-33% Travel required based on patch and geography needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience working with Value Add Resellers.
- Clear understanding of Channel Sales.
- Results/action-oriented, entrepreneurial attitude, and net new sales focused.
- Exceptional problem-solving and consultative skills.
- Results-driven mindset, with a passion for exceeding goals and driving revenue growth.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate value propositions and build relationships with decision-makers.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of complex sales processes.
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
- Working knowledge of sales software, tools, and processes.
- Extraordinary attention to detail, analytic, and deductive reasoning skills.
