Butler-Full Time

The Butler is responsible for the preparation of suite prior to customer arrival and coordinating room service set-up with any special requirements customers may have.

Position Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining accurate property information through daily use of intranet, email and other forms of communication.
• Responsible for providing all food and beverage service to suites designated to have butler service.
• Coordinates all such orders with Room Service Manager on duty to assure proper order is given and received.
• Maintains accurate documentation on facilities needs for luxury suites
• Coordinates with Housekeeping Staff to ensure that rooms are always kept in superior condition and that while occupied, they are serviced at the convenience of the customer
• Maintains butler pantry and equipment to be kept up to the standards of the Front Office as well as the Food and Beverage Department
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned

Essential Functions

• Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours
• Must be able to stand for an entire shift and move throughout the hotel
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs

Requirements

·         High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

·         Experience in and able to provide gourmet service and valet service

·         Strong customer service skills required

·         The ability to effectively communicate in English
