Basket/Giftware Associate - Part-Time / Thur-Sun Evening Shifts Only

Gary's Wine & Marketplace, owned and operated locally, is one of the largest brick-and-mortar and internet wine retailers in the tri-state area. At our stores, we offer one of the most extensive, competitively priced fine wine and cheese selections. We are well-known for our excellent, personable customer service and our knowledgeable wine staff.

We are seeking support in the Basket/Giftware Associate role, specifically for Evening Shifts from Thursday through Sunday.

The Basket/Giftware Associate will be responsible for the following:

• Build and maintain all giftware and gift basket displays, including pricing, inserting UPCs, and providing weekly recaps.
• Manage giftware and basket reorders to ensure consistent inventory.
• Review and respond to communications related to giftware and gift baskets.
• Assume the role and responsibility of seasonal Gift Basket Lead.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all basket and giftware areas.
• Conduct weekly department walkthroughs with management.
• Assist customers in selecting items for personalized gift baskets.
• Stay updated on current trends in the giftware department.
• Receive cross-training to operate the register as needed.

Requirements

• A strong sense of customer service
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Basic computer skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age
