We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Spanish Teacher to join our team. As a Spanish Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Spanish language and culture to students of varying skill levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in linguistics and a proven track record in classroom management and behavior management.

Compensation: PAID WEEKLY

• - Teach Spanish language and culture to students of varying skill levels.
• - Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students and align with curriculum requirements.
• - Use various learning technologies to enhance the learning experience and engage students.
• - Utilize library services to supplement teaching materials and enhance the learning environment.
• - Administer standardized tests to assess student progress and identify areas for improvement.
• - Provide individualized support to students who may require extra attention, such as proofreading and providing feedback.
• - Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and promotes literacy education.
• - Utilize the Chicago Manual Style to ensure consistent and professional presentation of materials.
• - Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
• - Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

 Key Responsibilities:  

• Deliver lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the regular classroom teacher.  

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.  

• Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and productive learning environment.  

• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners and accommodate individual learning styles.  

• Collaborate with school staff and administration to support student learning and address any challenges.  

• Follow school policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• - Strong background in linguistics and Spanish language and culture.
• - Experience with classroom management and behavior management.
• - Proficiency in math, as it is often a component of Spanish language instruction.
• - Excellent proofreading skills to ensure error-free materials.
• - Experience with literacy education and the Chicago Manual Style.
• - Familiarity with various learning technologies to enhance the learning experience.
• - Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and provide individualized support to students.
• - Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
