ABA Medical Biller

All About ABA, LLC is a leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented ABA Medical Biller to join our team. As an ABA Medical Biller, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely billing and reimbursement for the services we provide.

Responsibilities:

• Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
• Submit electronic and paper claims to insurance companies
• Review and follow up on outstanding claims
• Manage denials and appeals for denied claims
• Coordinate with the billing department to ensure accurate coding and billing practices
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies and procedures
• Communicate with clients and insurance companies regarding billing inquiries and payment issues
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis as needed
• Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and guidelines

Requirements

• Prior experience in medical billing, preferably in ABA or related field
• Knowledge of insurance billing and reimbursement practices
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and able to accurately process and track billing information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in using billing and electronic medical record software
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certification in medical billing preferred
