RN - Women's Services (Nights)

Location: Elko, Nevada

Salary: $63,772.00 - $80,000.00 (Signing Bonus Negotiable with a 36-month commitment)

Overview: Our client, a healthcare facility in Elko, NV, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for their busy 15-bed Women's Services Department. This role involves working three 12-hour night shifts per week. We are looking for a dedicated professional to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record all relevant patient data accurately and concisely.
• Perform technical aspects of patient care in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure patient privacy and safety at all times.
• Accurately interpret and document fetal monitor tracings.
• Safely place fetal scalp electrodes when necessary.
• Prepare patients for C-sections efficiently and safely.
• Assist in vaginal deliveries, including vacuum or forceps deliveries.
• Provide appropriate newborn care during delivery.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of physician orders for postpartum patients and epidural anesthesia protocols.

Requirements

• NV RN License required.
• Previous experience in women's services within a hospital setting.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
