Material Planner – North America

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Material Planner to join the team in North America. This role will support the team by planning all production purchase order requirements and ensuring delivery commitments are met. This position reports to the Materials Manager, based in Las Vegas Nevada.

Your dream role:  

  • We need a Material Planner to join our North American Team in Las Vegas. Your number one responsibility will be to plan all production purchase order requirements for North American Supply.
  • This is a permanent full-time position, working 7am – 4pm Monday to Friday with a 1 hour lunch break daily.
  • Validating supplier and cross-site supplier delivery commitments whilst assuring they meet our PO and Production requirements will be a large part of this role.
  • You’ll be validating BOM (bill of materials) to PO completeness.
  • Expediting of all North American and cross-site supply.
  • Actioning materials shortages with suppliers and cross-site supply.
  • Raising and reconciling DDRs and L&Ds
  • Run allocations and system adjustments.
  • Other duties as assigned by Materials Manager.

What you will bring: 

  • You will ideally have a college degree or diploma in Admin, Supply Chain or Business.
  • 3 Years + Experience in a similar purchasing and procurement environment.
  • Ideally your experience will have been gained in the Automotive or Aerospace manufacturing industry.
  • The ability to work efficiently with Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Previous experience using an ERP/MRP system is essential for this role.
  • Things can be hectic here. You will remain calm under pressure and be able to prioritize a busy workload using your strong organizational skills.
  • Fantastic analytical skills along with a strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and adapt quickly when priorities shift.
