We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to join our team at Our Home. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex plant equipment and facilities. You will work independently with little supervision, ensuring that all assignments are completed under stringent safety and sanitation standards. We encourage employee participation and innovation in implementing improved concepts to enhance our production processes.
Responsibilities:
- Support activities to meet or exceed business goals around Safety, Training, Quality, Production, and Cost
- Troubleshoots and repairs manufacturing equipment (motor controls, DC/AC drives and controls, frying and baking equipment, sheeters, extruders, temperature instrumentation, burner systems and controls, packaging machines, electronic scales, programmable logic controllers) etc.
- Responsible to repair various types of facility equipment (lift trucks, pumps, fans, air compressors, hydraulic equipment, HVAC) etc.
- Responsible for the completion of assigned PMs in a timely manner
- Develop and implement PM and troubleshooting programs and job
- Maintain accurate work order records
- Provides excellent customer service
- Complete tasks in a timely manner and provide feedback
- Comply with all GMP best practices
- Ensures that the highest safety and sanitation standards are maintained
Requirements
- Knowledge in using hand tools, electrical meter, and testing equipment
- Ability to read and comprehend wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and P&ID drawings
- Experienced in handling low to high voltage up to 480 VAC
- Strong knowledge in troubleshooting mechanical processing equipment, motor controls, drives, and electronic components
- Ability to interpret electrical prints and schematics
- Must have strong interpersonal skills
- Must have a high degree of initiative, and to work alone and effectively with other people and teams with little to no supervision
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. as needed
