Full Job Description
Contract to Hire Position:
- Plant mechanics with welding experience able to maintain the equipment such as rock crushers, vibrating screens, and conveyers.
- Second shift Lead
- Classic shift starts (production) 5:00am-1:00pm and another that is 2:00-10:00pm or sometimes 12pm (no graveyard shift - cannot run the plant through the night)
- Overtime is from 10-20 hours - 60 hours a week minimum
- Asphalt and aggregate plant
- MSHA preferred but will have them get it first day of orientation if they don’t possess it
- Lead repairman that would be hands-on and have supervisor skills to schedule work (Foreman) that would require work
- Need non-union candidates who are good with this moving forward
- Hourly rate is negoatiable but will be anywhere from 36-43 an hour
Requirements
- MSHA
- Experience working on rock and aggregate plants in the heat outside
- Ability to work overtime when necessary
- Experience leading a team of 4-5 plant mechanics
- Ability to delegate and step in to complete tasks when necessary
- Local to the plant
