Lead Developer

Euronet facilitates the movement of payments around the world and serves as a critical link between our partners – Financial Institutions, Fintechs, Retailers, Service Providers – and their end consumers, both locally and globally.

We currently have an opening in Las Vegas, NV for a Lead Developer (full stack) working with one of our strategic Fintech partners. This is a full-time, in-office permanent position. This position will be responsible for the management of all projects tied to this partner.

• Coding: You will write clean and functional PHP code for the backend and JavaScript code for the frontend, and you will optimize the software through testing, debugging, and developing new features

• Designing: You are participating in the design and creation of scalable software (on client and server-side architecture) and creating user interactions on the web application

• Administration: You will manage the entire lifecycle to produce the software and applications and provide feedback to the management throughout the development process

• Managing: You manage the end-to-end life cycle to produce software and applications, produce reposts and create the technical documentation

• Monitoring: You will monitor the automated tests and provide feedback to management throughout the development process

• Directing the development team in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including design, development, coding, testing, and debugging, to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Collaborating closely with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and effectively translate them into technical requirements for the development team.

• Planning and documenting comprehensive technical specifications for features or system design, ensuring a clear roadmap for development and implementation.

• You lead by example and set coding standards for the team

• Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

• Mentoring and guiding junior team members, fostering their professional growth, and encouraging the adoption of Euronet and industry best practices.

• Ensuring that software quality standards are met by enforcing code standards, conducting rigorous testing, and implementing continuous improvement processes.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals and deliver effective and impactful software applications.

Requirements

• Programming Languages: PHP language (version 7+), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C++ preferred

• Frameworks & Systems: AngularJS, Vue JS, React and Git, Gitlab/GitHub

• Databases: MySQL, Redis

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Must have 7-10 years of solid experience in software development, focus on back end.

• Proven success as a technical team leader

• You are a good mentor & coach.

• You possess good communication skills.
