Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a Superintendent/Foreman to join our growing construction company. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, willingness to travel, and dependability are a must.
Job Details
- $85,000 – $150,000 depending on experience
- 50 or more hours per week (no weekend work)
- Most projects require being out of town Monday-Friday (home on weekends)
- Transportation provided from Kearney, NE when working out of town
- Paid travel time
- Hotel paid for by the company
- Nightly per diem for meals when working out of town
- Company provided pickup truck and cell phone
- Year-round employment (no winter layoffs)
Requirements
- Class A or B CDL is required (or ability and desire to obtain a CDL).
- Previous supervisory or management experience is required.
- Must be able to lead and manage a two-person crew.
- Ability to manage projects including interaction with city employees and engineers. Must maintain professionalism throughout each project.
- Previous experience cleaning and televising is desired but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Must be able to manage difficult situations while cleaning and televising, including troubleshooting and developing plan of action.
- Ability to operate pipeline observation computer system used for the televising of pipelines. Training will be provided.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Operation, maintenance, and minor repairs of combo trucks used for jetting and vacuuming of pipelines.
- Responsible for entering and tracking manhours worked and production quantities daily.
- Responsible for effective documentation of performance feedback or issues.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds individually or as a team when carrying loads heavier than 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl throughout each day.
- Willingness to abide by all safety rules. Safety training is provided by the company.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment (post-offer) drug screen.
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
