Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the robust cloud and infrastructure systems that support our cutting-edge autonomous vehicle technology. In this role, you will manage cloud platforms, optimize network performance, and ensure high availability and security for mission-critical systems. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, implement automation for scalability, and drive innovation in infrastructure solutions tailored to the demands of autonomous vehicle development and operation.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

·       Experience with Linux, bash commands/terminal and Ubuntu

·       Fluency with project planning

·       Expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including deployment, management, and optimization of cloud resources

·       Strong knowledge of network architecture, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, and troubleshooting complex network issues

·       Proficient in securing cloud and on-premise systems, including implementing IAM, firewalls, intrusion detection, and incident response protocols.

·       Advanced skills in Linux and Windows Server Administration

·       Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation

·       Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Nagios, or Prometheus

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

·       Excellent programming skills in Python or a similar language

·       Collaboration on large software stacks, and experience in Git

Education and Experience:

·       Degree in CS, IT, CE, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Math, or equivalent

·       2+ Years in an IT or Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Role

·       AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred
