Contract Compliance Coordinator
The Contract Compliance Coordinator reports to the Contract Manager and is responsible for managing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. This role involves contract management, managing state licenses, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting the smooth operation of Triage’s contract process.
Major Position Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries and issues from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.
- Analyze State requirements and submit government license applications/renewals.
- Track renewal dates for contracts, registrations, certifications and licenses.
- Manage contract team email communications.
- Work with Insurance Broker to obtain applicable Certificates of Insurance.
- Respond to requests for Certificates of Insurance and vendor information.
- Support RFPs (Request for Proposal) and gather necessary documentation and signatures.
- Review and negotiate staffing services agreements to ensure all agreements are in compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with contract terms and conditions.
- Summarize contract terms for use by business partners (operations, finance, sales teams).
- Report status of contracts in progress to sales managers.
- Investigate and resolve contract conflicts.
- Liaise with internal departments such as sales, finance, and operations to facilitate contract processes.
- Continuously evaluate and implement best practices in contract management to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage all workload activities within a ticketing system and generate reports on metrics for completion and work in progress.
Requirements
Required Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in administrative, business, legal, or related studies.
- One year experience in reviewing and managing contracts or prior experience as a legal assistant
- Ability to analyze government license applications and apply critical thinking
- Experience working with and managing data maintenance
- Highly organized, handles pressure well and has the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to notice errors
- Must be able to relate to people in a variety of situations and corporate positions
- Able to work productively independently and as part of a team
- Highly trustworthy and use good judgment
- High level of accountability and responsibility
- Excellent reading and language comprehension
- Effective ability to negotiate and execute contracts
- Strong verbal, writing, and computer skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- IntelAgree and Bullhorn experience a plus!
