Telehealth Nurse Practitioner/Registered Nurse

OpenTelemed LLC is seeking highly motivated and skilled Telehealth Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses to join our team. As a telehealth practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work under the 1099 NEC classification, contributing your expertise on a part-time or full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct telehealth visits and provide high-quality care to patients from the comfort of their own homes.
• Perform routine evaluations, post-operative care, remote monitoring, and specialty care evaluations and training services via telehealth platforms.
• Adhere to all applicable state regulations and licensing requirements. Professionals may be licensed in a single state or multiple states.
• Complete individual compliance enrollments as well as training provided by OpenTelemed, including the National Telehealth Resource Center training.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and excellent communication skills when interacting with patients and colleagues.
• Stay updated on the latest telehealth practices, technology, and industry advancements.
• Be an independent player, taking ownership of your assigned tasks, while also being open to learning and professional growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Valid and active Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse license in the respective state(s).
• Prior experience in telehealth or a strong interest in pursuing a career in telehealth.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic medical records systems.
• Excellent clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with patients remotely.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Flexibility to work part-time or full-time hours based on business needs.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
