Jimmy Sansone started the company by selling online out of his parents’ basement in 2015, and was soon joined by his brothers, Conrad and Lan to run it together. They opened their first brand store in 2019 in St. Louis, Missouri, which has been voted the number one men’s clothing store in St. Louis for two years running. The Normal Brand now operates eleven brick and mortar stores of its own around the country, sells to 500 wholesale partners, and sells online through its website, which serves customers across the United States and globally at https://thenormalbrand.com.

What We Are Looking For:

 

We are looking for an experienced, data-driven and entrepreneurial Supply Chain Manager to join our growing team. This person will help lead our Operations efforts by optimizing the flow of merchandise through our Third-Party Distribution Center and to ensure a best-in-class customer experience. This role will oversee the cost and performance of our Wholesale and direct-to-consumer shipments, and focus on reducing our overall shipping spend while also delivering a superior experience to all of our customers. As a member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in directing and managing our outbound shipping flows with our 3PL partner. Additionally, you will be responsible for leading fulfillment center reporting, including inputting and analyzing data related to shopping, returns, and shipping costs analysis. Responsibilities:

·       TNB is looking to hire a Supply Chain Manager to help lead our Supply Chain efforts by optimizing the flow of merchandise through our Third-Party Distribution Center and to ensure a best-in-class customer experience with our Wholesale and DTC customers

·       This role will oversee the cost, performance, and timeliness of our Wholesale and DTC shipments, and focus on reducing our overall shipping spend while also delivering a superior experience to all of our customers

·       Partner with the product team on inbound inventory receiving

·       Facilitate wholesale shipments, ensuring compliance with client routing guides

·       Be the point of contact for standard retail shipments to boutique retailers around the country

·       Be the point of contact for retail shipments to major retailers like Dillard’s, Stitch Fix, Nordstrom, etc

·       Set up Dillard’s dropship program in a profitable and efficient way

·       Be the point for available to sell inventory within the Wholesale channel and communicate this across teams

·       Manage and optimize returns

·       Accountable for meeting fulfillment and carrier KPIs including fill rate, fulfillment center on-time shipping percentage, average click-to-ship time, open return units, in-transit time, costs, etc

·       Analyze and report large data sets for fulfillment and carrier KPIs, identifying trends for opportunities and anomalies

·       Lead the audit of shipping carrier invoices to find pricing errors or cost irregularities including filing carrier claims

·       Direct the communication and education within the internal team on shipping specifications

·       Optimize and work within multiple systems and understand system and data integration

·       Communicate effectively across cross-functional teams, including logistics, planning, customer service, merchandising, and production

·       Generate continuous cost-saving ideas including optimizing outbound, inbound and returns management

·       Forecast shipping volumes and costs using historical data and financial plans

·       Pilot new projects and initiatives to help move our Wholesale and DTC fulfillment strategy forward

Requirements

A person who joins our team must be three things: humble, hungry, smart. We stole that from a book written by a guy much smarter than us. In addition, to the HHS requirements for all teammates, for this role, here are some other things we are looking for:

 

·      10 years of experience with 3PL fulfillment processes

·      Skilled in using spreadsheet apps: Excel, Google Sheets, Smartsheets

·      Experience in managing multiple projects at once with changing priorities
