Role Overview:
Bussell Building is the premier home builder in Southwest Missouri that proudly offers homes that stand the test of time. Our team in the Springfield, MO area is seeking a Selling Sales Manager to join our company and provide additional leadership and sales support to our team as we sell beautiful homes built from high-quality materials. In this position, you will help provide guidance to New Home Sales Associates as the entire team sells new construction homes from our growing communities, and support customers as they advance through the purchasing and construction process. This is a great opportunity for an individual who has not had experience in real estate before, as our amazing training will help you develop the confidence and expertise needed to successfully conduct marketing initiatives, build rapport with customers, and secure sales. Experience previously managing and leading a team is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively engage with homebuyers to understand their needs and guide them through the home-buying process.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and local realtors, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and trust.
- Assist clients with the necessary paperwork and facilitate smooth transactions from start to finish.
- Conduct regular marketing initiatives to build your network, advertise Bussell Building, and secure sales opportunities.
- Conduct tours to showcase the communities, available homes, floorplans, and amenities.
- Oversee the maintenance and presentation of the community’s model home.
- Stay informed about the local real estate market, competitive properties, and industry trends.
- Work directly with Bussell Building leadership to assist in the day-to-day management, guidance, and training of New Home Sales Associates.
- Provide leadership by assessing processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing them.
- Collaborate with company leaders to determine and work towards overarching goals for Bussell Building.
Role Requirements:
- Has a positive attitude, is trainable, and is driven to succeed.
- Ability to work independently on a competitive sales floor as well as work in a team environment.
- Able to manage a flexible, adaptable schedule to connect with clients around their availabilities.
- Proficient computer knowledge/skills (i.e., MS Office Suite such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Has previous success in a management or leadership role overseeing a team.
- Passion and skill to engage, educate, guide, and influence others.
- At least 5+ years of experience in sales and customer service is required.
- Experience working with title companies, in property management, or with mortgages is preferred.
What We Offer:
- This is a W2, exempt position offering a base salary between $50,000 - $60,000 plus commission on all homes sold. A bonus structure based on team performance is also offered.
