Project Manager

Rankings.io is seeking a qualified Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing internet-based projects, preferably in the legal industry. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful completion of projects, maintaining communication with Account Managers, and managing project timelines. At Rankings.io, we are committed to providing end-to-end SEM services, including content creation, technical optimization, and keyword strategy for law firms looking for aggressive growth across multiple digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the onboarding of new clients from start to finish
• Gaining access and making sure everyone on the team has what they need
• Completely client requests and website updates on WordPress sites
• Participating in meetings and tasking out actionable items
• Completely monthly summary of work reports for each client
• Collaborate with internal dept heads and account managers
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
• Report and escalate to management as needed.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Craft, build and manage the process.
• Wrangle calendars and meetings (work for asynchronous vs synchronous communication).

• Clear and calm communicator. Able to throw water, not gasoline, on a fire.

• Able to prioritize effectively
• No Micro-Management Required. Likes to have a plan and execute, but doesn’t get in paralysis or need to run every little thing, past supervisor.
• Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Notice errors, glitches, and things that may fall through the cracks.
• Keeps things moving forward with force.
• Has a strong sense of self and is OK with people disagreeing or challenging them. Has no issue challenging others.
• Plays the devil's advocate and bad cop and is comfortable in this role.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of project management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively lead and manage project teams
• Expertise in project management tools and software
• Knowledge of SEO best practices
