Full Job Description

Fervor is looking for a Paid Media Specialist to join our team—a team that uses our trade for the most good possible. Part paid media strategist, part performance analyst, this role will ensure our clients' brand and services are visible online, and ongoing marketing efforts are optimized for best results.

Here’s the short story: The ideal person for this position will understand how to help a client’s brand gain traction in the marketplace through strategic paid media campaigns and performance optimization. They will excel at planning, executing, and analyzing paid media strategies across various platforms (Google, Meta, Linkedin and other various paid platforms), ensuring that campaigns are aligned with client goals and deliver measurable outcomes. Collaborative, insightful, and results-driven, they will act as our main paid media expert, working alongside our clients to maximize the impact of their brands.

  • Lead Fervor’s paid media efforts through strategy, planning, execution, and analysis, in conjunction with our internal team and external partners.
  • This role reports directly to Fervor’s Creative Director.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

This role involves successfully managing client campaigns in the digital advertising space across four main sectors:

Media Strategy:

  • Plan, book, and optimize paid media campaigns (e.g., Meta, Google, Direct Partnerships, etc.) for multiple clients, utilizing available media planning tools.
  • Strategize and implement A/B experiments to test audiences, creative, landing pages, offers, etc.
  • Facilitate campaign implementation, including asset collection and ad trafficking.
  • Manage the channel’s monthly reporting, owning overall communication for all paid initiatives.


Performance:

  • Scope, develop, and manage channel initiatives to consistently hit the goals for channels across all clients.
  • Act as a strategic advisor and recommend strategic pivots to increase channel performance.

Reporting + Forecasting:

  • Present reports to clients highlighting the performance of paid efforts, how it assisted other channels in the funnel, how it affects the client’s business, and recommend next steps.
  • Complete a monthly forecast for respective channels based on budget and/or revenue goals.

Cross-Channel Strategy + Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other media and creative team members to ensure the creative specifications of plans are met.
  • Consistently identify cross-channel strategies and collaborations with clients to improve performance. 
  • Effectively communicate with clients on the team's capabilities and opportunities and proactively offer solutions for ad hoc issues.

DIGITAL EXCELLENCE

  • Serve as a digital strategist across Fervor’s portfolio of clients, focusing on SEO, Paid Media, and other digital elements to drive results.
  • Present strategies related to Paid Media, SEO, and content to clients, facilitating ongoing discussions about topics, creative approaches, and thematic elements.
  • Develop integrated, strategic media plans for our clients, including planning calendars and proposals for various formats (email, web content, blog content, social media, SEO, paid media, etc.).
  • Ensure paid media efforts meet and maximize monthly and annual budgets for search, display, retargeting, and social ads.

Requirements

PREFERRED + REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Expertise in developing and executing paid media strategies that drive measurable results.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, content strategy, and analytics.
  • You enjoy working collaboratively with others to create high-impact strategies and campaigns.
  • Visiting and meeting with clients gives you energy. You’re just as good in front of clients as you are behind a laptop.
  • You’re a sponge for knowledge. From systems to SEO to our clients’ missions, you learn quickly and eagerly.
  • You’re analytical and love digging into data to assess performance, uncover trends, and identify new opportunities.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s-level degree in communication, journalism, marketing, or a related field; or commensurate professional experience.
  • 5 or more years of experience in marketing, with a focus on paid media and digital strategy.
