MRI Technician| Direct Hire

NCG Associates, a highly regarded healthcare staffing agency, is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Direct Hire MRI Technician to join our team. As a Direct Hire MRI Technician at NCG Associates, you will play a vital role in performing high-quality MRI scans and assisting in radiology procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients
• Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort and safety during the scanning process
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to evaluate and interpret imaging results
• Assist in performing radiology procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and other imaging tests
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and imaging results
• Ensure the proper functioning of MRI equipment and report any malfunctions or issues
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in MRI technology and techniques
• Assist in the training of new MRI Technologists and radiology staff

Requirements

• Certification as an MRI Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• ARRT, BLS, MRI with 3-5 years of hospital based experience, Siemens
• Graduate of accredited Radiology program. Registered in good standing upon hire or within 12 months of the hire date with the ARRT
• Thorough knowledge of MRI scanning techniques, protocols, and safety measures
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting MRI equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality images
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in performing radiology procedures such as X-rays and CT scans is a plus
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations
• Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support) is preferred

Shift times and shift length: 12p-830p Tues, Wed, Thurs | 800a-830p Fri

Weekend Requirement:

On-call Requirement: M-F 1 day per week 5p-7a | Sat/Sun every 3rd week 24 Hours

Holiday Requirement: As needed

Base Hourly Pay/Salary: (pay is based upon years of experience and pay equity amongst out current MRI Technologist)

Shift/Weekend/On-Call differentials:      

Evening differential: $3.00/hr

Night differential: $4.50/hr

W/E differential: $2.25/hr

Call differential: $3.00/hr
