Full Job Description
The Logistics Driver will be out weekly over the road.
Responsibilities include:
* Safely transport freight between various locations over long distances.
* Possess or gain knowledge of, and adhere to, all applicable laws and regulations.
* Perform equipment inspections before and after each trip to ensure that there are no safety or mechanical issues.
* Carefully plan routes that avoid traffic, delays or unnecessary tolls, to ensure that deliveries are completed in a timely
manner.
* Communicate with customers in a professional manner regarding deliver times and other arrangements, including obtaining
signatures upon delivery.
* Ensure loads are secured prior to departure from each stop.
Requirements
* Clean driving record
* Good time-management, organizational, and communication skills
* Safety-focused team player with a positive attitude
* Pass pre-employment physical
* Pass pre-employment drug screen
* Pass background check
* Driver's License, required
* CDL A, required
* Willingness to travel
