Go Maverick Group has a realty client who specializes in transforming uninspired properties into luxury dream homes for buyers in the the Sr. Louis area. From acquisition to design, renovation, staging and sale, they infuse every step with passion and expertise. Their specialties lie in conceptual development, spatial planning, thoughtful design, procurement management, careful construction management, and staging. As they continue to grow, they are looking to add a full-time Interior Design Drafter & Procurement Coordinator to the team. In this role, you will split your time between these two primary responsibilities as the project transitions from one phase to the next.
They are looking for someone who can do the following successfully:
- Expertly utilize CAD software to create professional design drawings for a variety of spaces from residential to commercial, demonstrating technical skills like detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings.
- Closely collaborate with their Principal Designer to visualize and render design concepts effectively.
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate our client's needs, budget limitations, and project challenges.
- Leverage strong communication and organizational skills to clearly present design intent documents and potential design ideas.
- Ability to visit job sites to verify that the desired design is being executed properly.
- Understand the urgency of needed items and the delicate timeline of construction timelines.
- Possess knowledge of emerging design styles and industry standards.
- Create finishing material schedules.
- Responsible for the organization of all incoming and outgoing finishing materials for each project.
- Collaborate with their Assistant Coordinator regarding the entry of finishing materials into an interior design project management platform.
- Additional tasks may include ordering specified finishing materials, contacting specialty vendors, as well as scheduling and overseeing product deliveries.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design preferred
- Minimum one year of experience in a drafting program like AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or Chief Architecture having created professional design drawings.
- Must have a portfolio that demonstrates your capabilities regarding renderings, elevations, detailed floor plans, interior architectural construction drawings, etc.
- Prior experience traveling on-site locations to take construction measurements and convert them to a finished product.
- Proactive by nature and works well independently within tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, while presenting themselves in a professional manner.
- Can do attitude with an eagerness to join a small, but growing passionate group of people.
- Able to work onsite, daily at the Chesterfield, MO office. (there is no relocation for this role)

- Full-time position - $28/hr.
- United Health insurance after a 90-day probationary period. Company pays 70%.
- Three paid annual PTO days after a 90-day probationary period.
