Now Hiring: Flooring Sales Associate
The Flooring Sales Associate will be responsible for greeting customers, assisting customers with flooring selections, answering questions, providing a good customer experience and following through with sales and service to ensure customer satisfaction. Flooring sales experience is required.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in buying process
- Prepare accurate quotes for customers
- Perform order entry
- Enter and track customer interactions in software system
- Keep showroom organized and ensure that all samples are put away correctly and in a timely manner
- Develops new accounts through cold calling
- Maintains and strengthens current accounts
- Identifies and develops relationships with decision makers at all levels to create loyalty and generate leads
- Some administrative duties including answering phones and scheduling
- 2+ years previous experience working in retail sales role
- Basic computer skills
- Proven, successful sales track record
- Ability to maintain a quality and service-oriented attitude
- Must be a self-starter and able to take initiative
- Ability to meet deadlines and understand priorities
- Proven ability in creating new business and client relationships is a must
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and the ability to work under little to no supervision
- Proven verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and demonstrate solid time management and organizational skills
- Base salary + monthly sales commission
