Direct Hire MRI Technician

NCG Associates, a highly respected and leading healthcare staffing agency, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Direct Hire MRI Technician to join our team. As a Direct Hire MRI Technician at NCG Associates, you will play a vital role in performing high-quality MRI scans to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images of patients
• Position patients properly and ensure their comfort and safety during the scanning process
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to evaluate and interpret imaging results
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and imaging results
• Ensure the proper functioning of MRI equipment and report any malfunctions or issues
• Administer contrast agents as required for enhanced imaging
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in MRI technology and techniques
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality

Requirements

• Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field
• Certification as an MRI Technician from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technician in a hospital or clinical setting
• Thorough knowledge of MRI scanning techniques, protocols, and safety measures
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting MRI equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality images
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with electronic medical records systems
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support) is preferred

Position Title: MRI Technician

Part-time or Full-time: Full-Time

Shift times and shift length: 12p-830p Tues, Wed, Thurs | 800a-830p Fri

Weekend Requirement:

On-call Requirement: M-F 1 day per week 5p-7a | Sat/Sun every 3rd week 24 Hours

Holiday Requirement: As needed

Any Travel Required (between more than 1 Location): None

Required Qualifications: Graduate of accredited Radiology program. Registered in good standing upon hire or within 12 months of the hire date with the ARRT

License Required: ARRT upon hire

Certificates Required: BLS required upon hire

Hourly Pay Rate will be discussed with the selected candidate at the time of hire.
