Full Job Description

Control Risks is looking to hire a Corporate Investigations Manager to support a major client of ours. This role will help to run investigations as well as develop templates and processes to best ensure compliance with the client's global program.

This position will be a 6 month position. This role can be fully remote, but will require up to 75% travel to the client site in Kansas City and other offices.

  • Responsible for all aspects of investigating reports of employee misconduct in the Americas
  • Assist the client in developing an investigations process for the US that meets expectations of the global standards
  • Help create and develop templates to help better build out the program and expectations for investigations.
  • Lead, conduct and document complex internal investigations
  • Draft concise and accurate reports, including executive-level summaries of investigations, and presentations providing an overview of the key issues, findings, trends, and outcomes related to investigations
  • Present updates on investigations, including investigation analytics, trends, and remediation, to senior leadership and at various forums
  • Ensure case files are complete and information is accurately reflected in case management tool
  • Review data metrics to identify trends and to conduct root cause analysis
  • Provide training to employees and functional partners on investigations and response to reports of workplace misconduct.
  • Provide guidance/mentorship to junior investigator(s) on best practices in conducting investigations

Requirements

  • 7+ years of investigations experience
  • Experience conducting investigations in a corporate setting, and interviewing stakeholders at all corporate levels
  • Experience developing templates and guidelines for workplace investigations.
  • Experience training and mentoring other people to conduct investigations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to advise, counsel and interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders
  • Strong presentations skills
  • Excellent writing skills, including notetaking and report writing
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Able to exercise sound judgment in resolving complex matters and escalating matters appropriately
  • Strong organizational skills and experience in case management
  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word
