What You’ll Do:
- Learn to perform field and laboratory testing of construction materials like soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates while gaining real-world experience.
- Assist in material sampling and preparation under the guidance of experienced professionals.
- Inspect construction sites to ensure materials meet specifications and quality standards.
- Operate testing equipment and tools in a safe, effective manner.
- Document and report findings, contributing directly to the success of construction projects.

Requirements
Education and Background:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- No prior experience in construction materials testing necessary—ideal for entry-level candidates eager to start a career in construction.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong interest in construction, engineering, or related fields.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Ability to follow instructions, maintain safety protocols, and pay attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Comfortable working on active construction sites, which may include uneven terrain.
Licensing and Transportation:
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Availability:
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and occasional evenings as required by project needs.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
