🛠️ Your Role
Step into a leadership role as the Construction Administration Group Leader in the vibrant Kansas City metro area! Lead and manage a dynamic team of construction managers across Kansas and Missouri, overseeing crucial projects and driving team success.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead & Inspire: Drive growth and development of your team, setting performance expectations and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Oversee Projects: Ensure seamless project execution, meeting quality standards, and client requirements for top clients like KDOT, MoDOT, and local municipalities.
- Client Engagement: Secure repeat business and new opportunities through exceptional client service and business development skills.
- Operational Excellence: Implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project management and execution.

- Performance Management: Monitor and optimize project performance and employee utilization.
- Professional Development: Support and develop employees, setting goals, and providing consistent feedback.
- Effective Communication: Keep the team informed and aligned with group initiatives and objectives.
- Client Service: Maintain high standards of client communication and service.
- Business Development: Lead marketing efforts for repeat clients and new client pursuits.

Requirements

You Bring:
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- 8+ years of Construction Field Operations experience
- 4+ years of experience supervising staff
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven track record with state and local agencies
- Business development and client relationship skills
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving history
Preferred:
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience in managing QA/QC construction materials testing, inspection, and/or geotechnical engineering projects
