A trusted financial institution partner is seeking a skilled Business Loan Assistant I in Kansas City, MO to provide essential administrative support to their Banking team. This role requires daily interaction with a diverse range of internal and external clients, ensuring a high level of service in loan processing and client management.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and client support to the Banking team, ensuring accuracy in loan and CRM systems.
- Manage due diligence and loan documentation, assisting in loan preparation, review, and closing coordination.
- Facilitate loan funding, track outstanding items, and monitor credit facilities approaching maturity.
- Assist clients with routine treasury activities and loan transactions.
- Process draw requests, resolve overdrafts, and coordinate client payments.
- Schedule meetings, manage travel, and prepare reports.
- Deliver exceptional service, resolve client inquiries, and escalate issues as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with organizational policies.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
- Ability to identify due diligence requirements for various credit facilities.
- Experience in reviewing and understanding loan documentation for compliance with loan approvals.
- Preferred experience with Salesforce/nCino.
- Knowledge of organizational documents (e.g., Articles of Organization/Incorporation, Bylaws) and ability to identify authorized signors.
- Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office and the Internet.
- Proven success in a fast-paced, service-oriented role, ideally within Commercial Banking, with a solid understanding of bank products and treasury services.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and strong follow-through in a multitasking environment.
- Demonstrated persistence, flexibility, and teamwork, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and communicate effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
