F. L. Crane & Sons, Inc. an employee-owned specialty contractor with over 75 years of experience covering a wide range of finishing, metal panel systems and custom crating. We are based out of Fulton MS and operate 14 divisions throughout the southeastern part of the US.   • Handling and transporting materials and equipment
  • Following instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks
  • Reporting issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
  • Thoroughly clean the interior and exterior of vehicles
  • General maintenance
  • Using power tools and machinery when needed
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify any mechanical or electrical issues
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Ensure proper functioning of machinery, including assembly, installation, and disassembly
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts and tools
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Provide support during equipment installation and start-up
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicles
  • Detect and diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment
  • Inspect vehicle systems and components to identify potential problems
  • Complete necessary repairs on company vehicles
  • Test and adjust vehicle systems to ensure proper functionality
  • Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance work performed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education and/or Work Experience

·         High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)

·         Valid driver's license (required)

·         Commercial Drivers License (CDL) (required)

Preferred Skills and Abilities

·         Strong knowledge of automotive systems

·         Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment

·         Excellent communication skills

·         The ability to meet the physical demands of the job, such as standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy loads of up to 100 pounds

·         Ability to interpret and follow technical manuals and specifications

·         Excellent problem-solving skills

·         Attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work well in a team
