Full Job Description
Seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Benefits Representative to join the team. As a Benefits Rep, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their benefit queries and providing exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position based at our company headquarters in Columbus, with the possibility of remote work in the future.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls to address benefit-related questions and concerns
- Assist customers in enrolling or making changes to their benefit plans
- Provide accurate and timely information about available benefits and plan options
- Document customer interactions and update customer records in the company database
- Resolve customer complaints or issues, escalating when necessary
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the best customer experience
Requirements
Requirements:
- Prior experience in customer service, preferably in a benefits or insurance-related role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism and empathy towards customers
- Availability to work occasional evenings or weekends, as needed
