Generator Technician

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, repair, and maintenance tasks on various types of generators in the machinery industry.
• Identify and diagnose electrical generator issues and conduct complex repairs with precision.
• Thoroughly inspect, test, troubleshoot, and ensure proper functioning of generators.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to complete repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work performed, including detailed specifications of generators.
• Refer to generator maintenance and repair manuals as needed to carry out tasks professionally.
• Adhere to strict company safety policies and procedures throughout all operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in generator maintenance.
• Proven expertise in working with electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
• In-depth knowledge of generator components and systems.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to handle work in various weather conditions and be available for emergency service calls.
