We're looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant/Compliance Manager to join our team at Bragg Canna. This role involves providing administrative support and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Responsibilities include optimizing inventory processes, ensuring accuracy, and improving efficiency while collaborating with various departments. The Compliance Manager will help maintain smooth operations and enhance inventory visibility. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. They will work closely with the management team to ensure operations run smoothly and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
Core Responsibilities
- Organize, manage, and assist in weekly/monthly physical inventory counts within the facility.
- Weekly inventory audits of all products in retail/wholesale packaging – in coordination with the accounting department.
- Manage perpetual inventory stock counting and inventory accuracy checks.
- Update inventory management system (Finale) for purchases, transfers, and product builds.
- Ensure complete paperwork for product builds, extraction records and harvest documentation.
- Maintain compliance with METRC, ensure METRC inventory is up to date.
- Coordinate with the management team to discuss inventory management plans and methods to reduce errors and maximize inventory efficiency.
- Maintain available inventory accuracy in LeafLink.
- Update LeafLink for order acceptance, delivery, etc.
- Review orders for completeness and correct invoicing before delivery.
- Coordinate timely with accounting with any order changes, method of payment or any necessary invoice changes.
- Record incoming deposits from Wholesale orders.
- Other administrative duties as assigned.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in an administrative role, preferably in a cannabis or regulated industry
- Knowledge of inventory management and compliance principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Professional demeanor, strong work ethic
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- High-level attention to detail
- Self-driven and organized
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Must be able to pass a federal background check
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have valid MS cannabis work permit
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- GMP/HACCP Certification or Training
- Some Cannabis Knowledge Preferable
Physical Demands/Work Environment
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, and safely lift up to 25lbs.
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
