Youth Leadership Team Member

Our mission at Apex Leadership Co. is to build leaders. We believe that every child can change the world in a profound way. Our vision at Apex is to see thousands of schools and students across the country transformed by the power of leadership, fitness, and fundraising.

As an Apex Team Member, you will go into elementary schools for a 2-week period to inspire kids through key leadership lessons and facilitate a Fun Run. The program is a leadership-driven and fitness promoting fundraiser which includes: teacher huddles, pep rallies, class lessons, prize distribution, recess, lunch, gym, music, event day and recap.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve teachers and administrators while striving to make their jobs easier
• Inspire students by being an excellent role model at all times
• Teach leadership lessons and interact with students during lunch, PE and other specialist classes.
• Set up and tear down equipment needed for each aspect of the program

You love kids

You will surround yourself with as many as you can in class or camp setting. Your patience is immeasurable and you never lose your cool. You realize that kids look up to you and your goal is to constantly inspire them to be the best they can be not only in your words but with your daily actions!

DETAILS:

• This opportunity is located across the Twin Cities metro area, we work in different schools for 2 weeks at a time.
• The job offers summers and holidays off (Apex does not employ through the summer)
• Requires some in-state travel with personal vehicle

Requirements

MUST-HAVES:

• Strong character and integrity
• Ability to connect with students
• A clean background check
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs
• Energetic and engaging persona
• Reliable vehicle
